Needle Felting Dolls provides an art all its own with a unique look. The hardest parts to needle felt include the face, hands and feet. In this tutorial, learn how to needle felt feet. What you will need is the usual: a styrofoam pad for sticking, wool roving and needles of course.
Sometimes it is good to draw a pattern for the feet size. This will help in the packing of the roving to the right side.
Take the roving and push the wool into a rough shape of the bottom of the foot. Don't include the toes, just the foot pad. The toes will be done later.
Start at the bottom of the foot and felt it tight slowly working up adding or subtracting roving as needed.
Finally, make the toes separately and felt them to the toes afterwards.
