This is a step by step how to tutorial on needle felting a fairy. Learn new techniques and trips for needle felting right now.
This is a slightly different tutorial then the others I have posted. You will need a hand carding tool(see video) for this one. This helps work and separate the roving. Also, to cover areas quicker we will use a Clover Art multiple needle tool which makes the work faster.
First thing to do is to select a wide variety of roving colors. You will need colors for hair skin and clothing. Be creative!
Since we are just making a 2d fairy, you can lay out your roving in the desired shape than use the needle punch to tighten the design. Keep doing this and shaping. For more intricate details use a single needle. Connect the different colors with a single needle.
